Oil painting of Birch Tree Forest continued...

Another update for anyone following this current painting in progress. Almost there, and coming on nicely - if I do say so myself! I am stretching myself a little on this one, which is good. No point in painting easy subjects all the time. Challenging yourself is well worthwhile. Anyway comments are welcome and enjoy! Final updates will be coming up soon as I am close to finishing this one. Now what will I paint next?? Hmmm...

Hi Jim,
Just browsed your blog. You've been busy, quite a few of those paintings are ones I've never seen before. Alot of really good ones there, keep up the good work! Teresa

Jim, you visited my home today (I was the lady with the mad Basset hound). I came to look at your other work, and it's wonderful. I told everyone on my Facebook page about your blog here, and I cannot wait until you finish your birch forest painting. It reminds me of the Aspen forests in Denver, Colorado.

I wish you lots of success. I think your trees are absolutely beautiful. Thank you for visiting us today and sharing your work.

Thanks for that comment and for spreading the word about my art! I love trees, they are one of my favorite things. Yes this is finished!! This post is 2010 not 2011, Feb 19th...It's still for sale on my main page gallery. Go to the most recent page of the blog and scroll down. I never made this as a print yet.
