Here are some update photos of progress on my latest painting Birch Forest. The colour varies slightly from photo to photo due to my taking them in changing light conditions, sometimes near a window indoors or on a cloudy day. The above is pretty close to the reality. The previous shots all seem a little dull compared to the actual painting. I use artists grade pigments so the colours are more intense. I think it's worth the extra expense for me. I hope to finish this painting this week. I have had a lot of distractions in the last three weeks, as I had to complete a commissioned mural design and other obligations.
